Variant 013

Variant 013 - Variant 013 blkvlpha Variant 013 is a tribute to the blkVlpha collective, a community centered on onboarding and wayfinding BIWOC and Non-Binary folks into Web3. To each one, teach one. Each variant is an original work created on artist distressed paper. The process of aging the paper into a unique textual form involves baking, dyeing, painting, and cooking each sheet separately. Mixed media compositions are then  deployed using paint, metals, and other found material. The intention is to tell Black stories through abstraction and whimsy. No two variants are alike, however, some are related.
