Cyclamen

Cyclamen is a genus of flowering plants native to the Mediterranean region and parts of the Middle East. The plants have heart-shaped leaves and flowers with five petals that range in color from white to pink, red, and purple. They are typically grown as houseplants or in outdoor gardens as perennials. Cyclamen plants prefer cool, moist conditions and can be found growing in woodland areas, along rocky outcroppings, and in fields.
