80's Baby #027 - 80'S BABY COLLECTION - #027 "MIDORI" Our planet is endangered and we need someone to save it! This is MIDORI's one and only motivation since she's a kid. She loves nature and animals, and takes the meaning of her name very seriously: MIDORI means "green" in Japanese! Growing up in Tochigi, in a small town surrounded by rivers and forests, she eventually became a biologist in order to find ways to protect the environment. + + + I was born in the 80's, and always feel very nostalgic whenever I think of that period of my life. Of course because I was a child, but also because I had the impression people were happier back then. In Japan, the economy was doing great. And everything, from music to anime, was so creative and refreshing. I decided to create a collection named "80's Baby" to pay homage to that era. Sometimes, I wish I was an adult in the 80's.
