The genesis of Ganification was for me to recursively conduct transfer learning with GAN models selecting open domain 1915 film of ships and submarines at sea. The metamorphosis of the original black and white footage becomes a metaphorical visual poem of symbiosis. In this expressive Artificial Intelligence (AI) process, estuarine symbolisms recreate the visual seascapes and function as buffer zones of synthesis.
