Look Up

Look Up - "The cosmos is within us. We are made of start-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself." = Carl Sagan. This photo of Mt. Rainier, the Milky Way, millions of stars, and the bright torches of those summiting the towering volcano during a clear summer night was minted for Earth Day 2022 as part of the ZestBloom exhibition in China. As cities are continually built out and pollution clouds the atmosphere in layers of toxic gases, places as beautiful and spiritual as this one are becoming rarer by the year. Glaciers are disappearing rapidly, habitations are being destroyed globally. Earth Day needs to be honored every day, for if Mother Nature's fever rises too high we are all at threat of losing the only currency that matters - life.
