Hepgen, the Apprentice: "It was always Hepgen's dream to become a grandsmith. He worked for ages, eventually reaching the position of an insignificant apprentice within the great workshop in which the legendary Aulas the Maker himself sometimes worked. Hepgen noticed that there was a slight error in one of the plans on the table of the great master, and without thinking, he corrected it. When Aulas returned to work on the schematic, he noticed the change, of course, and had every worker summoned, asking who was responsible. Hepgen stepped forward, expecting to be punished. Instead, the old maker promoted him to become their apprentice."
