Forun the Blind: "For someone sworn to an oath of peace, the great wars were too terrible to bear. Rather than see everything they held dear fall apart, Forun blinded themself and retreated into a deep cave on Zanay'San, unwilling to ever return. When the time of the Shift came, many tried to convince Forun to join them in the Innerspace. All failed, but their efforts left a seed of understanding within Forun - their task was not yet done, and they had to make sure that the same mistakes wouldn't be repeated in the new world. They decided to keep their blindness even in their new form as an eternal reminder of the promise they made to themself."
