The False Watcher: "It became apparent once the great wars erupted that some Watchers behaved strangely. In the branches of the Twelfth and the Seventh in particular, there seemed to be a disruption in the ranks which quickly spread. But there were other strange cases, too. One of them became known as the False Watcher. It bore marks of no known branch, and for some time it was thought that it might be the one of the highest joints themselves, hiding their identity and observing the fights. But then, knowers present among the legions noticed that it seemed to feed on the powers unleashed on battlefields and that when it was confronted, it always fled immediately."
