Beartooth Stream

Beartooth Stream - Hiking in the Beartooth Mountains after fall is always a special experience for me. The deciduous trees are bare, pines & firs dominate the landscape & fresh snow is the perfect highlight to an afternoon in solitude. The water running down the stream creates the most peaceful ambiance as the leaves crunch below your feet walking along the trails. On this day, there was a cool breeze & sparse lighting cutting through the cloud covered sky. As soon as I came upon this stream I knew I had to capture an image of this beautiful view.
