The Messenger: "Long before the wars, this being appeared on a now-nameless world. It brought a message, supposedly from the Court beyond the Veil itself. Half the world's population was broken by its weight, and the other half lifted arms and waged a war against all life. Any world they arrived on joined their cause, and it took the Dominion many dozen turns of the Calendar to stop this madness. When it manifested next, a legion was sent to cleanse the world it arrived on the moment it departed. Unwilling to come into contact with its poison, they obliterated the star and with it, themselves. It was this devotion that saved the First Dreamers in a much later war."
