Take, or if you have it in you, hike the 17 mile road that weaves through all of the monuments. Or, if you just want an easy morning, take the 4 mile round trip Wildcat Trail that will have you pass right along the base of one of the Mittens, getting you so close you can't comprehend what you're looking at, but you can't take your eyes of it due to the fascinating detail in the red rock.
