Wyoming Alpine Lake

- This image was captured on a camping trip with a couple of our close friends in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. On this evening, we took a short walk from the campsite down to the river to fill up our water supplies. As we were doing that, the sun dipped below a shelf cloud & brightened up the trees & tall grasses with incredible lighting. We were standing on a large boulder as this happened & I scurried to my bag to launch the drone.. It was one of those, perfect place/perfect timing scenarios. I flew the drone up real quick, stepped out of frame & snapped a couple images. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to be able to spend my life in the mountains, this is just one of those images that brings me joy & takes me back in time.
