Prowling at Night

When Küp wants to choke sense into her kin, she switches hands. She ran into a problem hand-walking at high speeds. Along trade routes, hydrostats can reach capacity no problem; but when she hunts, she needs better handling. One day Küp was studying ancestral anatomies and came across a snake form. She was moved by these lovely creatures and thought they deserved tribute. One snake head felt respectful, but only three, per hand, seemed like true appreciation. It also allows her to balance and redirect mid-stride. Ligament flexibility in the mandibles adds spring absent in the hydrostats, and retractable teeth help her lock and leave a surface in milliseconds. These days, laggers and scum pack the edges of the Mythtuf territory, and it’s only getting thicker. If Küp can catch and squeeze even one a day for secrets, it’s worth the chase.
