Habelkef’s never hit a drumstick bush before. This one is leaning down invitingly, but he’s heard if you miss, it hits back. Shouldn’t be a problem with his lightning-fast reflexes, though all in all it may just be easier to take it. He’s modulated his thickening knife to maximum bluntness, so instead of chopping the head off, he can knock it instead. Apparently drumstick bushes communicate by thumping. He’s been tasked with communicating a message to Chak and Kanko, though he was never told how to do it, so now he has to guess which part of the bush to smack. His instincts tell him to avoid the massive looming weight, but his cycles of training tell him this is the fastest way to an answer.
