Careful Pruning

What a lovely folding bush, and an utter peril to its neighbors. Careful pruning is a specialized skill; improper cuts could leave Chak with a missing limb or leave the bush with a crippling wound. As the only Mythtuf experienced enough besides Habelkef, Chak must be vigilant in his rounds, and frequently venture out for a chopping. If the branches grow too near another trunk, they may accidentally fold a tree in half. Nevertheless, keeping such deadly defenders on Mythtuf land is good for security. Armed assailants cannot storm in and take over the area, for the folding bushes, among other plants, are scattered across the floor to form a wall. Although more psychologically deterrent than physically so, these fortifications alert megafauna to the treacherous wisdom of Mythtuf agroforestry, and dissuade many from ill-advised entry.
