Don't Play, Asar

Asar was the type to smell an opening and stuff its trunk in. The Quintresier were an economic federation with no civil law and complete leeway for independent agents to leverage the loose structure. They acted on behalf of the Ecosystem of course, and were checked by their peers, but only as much as the two forces could manage. Asar had seen the recent psychic attacks on the Mythtuf border as an opportunity to thrust itself into the political scramble. As Head of Border Patrol, Asar could claim Bordrax and its nomads needed escorts, and feign investigation of the psychic dangers on the hunting grounds. Really, Asar just wanted to know what none yet did: what was this psychic technology, and who created it. If only Gywtug knew. Regardless, as soon as it stopped bloviating and sniffed the human it was talking to, Asar would soon bite its own blow holes.
