Too many boastful weaklings in the forest these cycles. Too much energy to go around. They got bold, dangerously so. Cowards capable of crippling attacks who blow over in the breeze. Didn’t used to be this way. Back in her ancestors’ time, life kept its nose down. It was so hard to get by you didn’t waste yourself on petty squabbles. But life’s gotten fat and complacent off the stolen sun and the rules didn’t catch up. No punishers, no sense of need for them. Küp’s here to change that. After those hypocrites, the Quintresier, walked off with half of Habel, Küp decided cut her teeth. Cut them to blades and run them through any lowlife that crosses her. At least, in her imagination. In reality, she makes her move a little quieter. But she’s still steel enough to take it, one v one, anywhere in the Biggle Basin. More than the Quintresier can say.
