Chop It Up, Chak!

The folding bush inhabits the Biggle Forest near the Mythtuf town, and is a type of Otris-troph, an autotroph that sustains itself by attracting Otris energy. Made of one continuous, zigzagging trunk, with neither roots nor leaves, this plant forms a treacherous lattice of wood around the borders of the Mythtuf tribe. Chak visits often to harvest and shape its limbs. If touched by an organism, the trunk will fold at its nearest crease. The folding process happens quickly, and has the energy force to flatten nearly anything touching the crease. The bush’s vascular tissue is layered like phyllo dough; if a Mythtuf can bypass the dangerous process, slice a cross-section of the trunk and peel off a layer of vascular tissue, the Mythtuf now has a Folding Sheet. This sheet can be flattened against any object to fold it, from a leaf to a steel beam.
