A Conversation with Kanko

Recognition and comfort would go deeper than words, even if the human had an strong sense for unspoken meaning; she knew that despite the festivities, Kanko would ask where the Mythtuf loyalties lie. Humans seemed to think relationships were either unconditionally commencialist or pathogenic. No, Kanko would be added to the tribe and contribute to its wellbeing, and in exchange, receive its protection. But if Kanko sensed self interest, there was no telling where the human would go, or what this exchange era would become.
