Cotoneaster

Cotoneaster is a genus of flowering plants in the rose family, Rosaceae. It consists of over 200 species of shrubs and small trees, many of which are commonly used in landscaping due to their attractive foliage, showy flowers, and abundant fruit. Cotoneaster plants are native to temperate regions of Europe, Asia, and northern Africa, but have been introduced to other parts of the world including North America. They can be found in a variety of habitats.
