Cerastium

Cerastium tomentosum, commonly known as snow-in-summer or mouse-ear chickweed, is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial plant that is native to Europe and western Asia but has also become naturalized in North America. The plant produces dense mats of silvery-gray foliage that are covered in small, star-shaped white flowers in late spring and early summer. Snow-in-summer is commonly used as a groundcover in rock gardens, borders, and other landscape settings due to its attractive foliage.
